On Friday 23rd April U-Build creator and Studio Bark director Nick Newman will be speaking at the Building Centre’s online event ‘Kit’ architecture and the democratisation of placemaking.
During the lunchtime (1pm-1:45) talk, Nick, alongside Mollie Claypool of Automated Architecture (AUAR) Labs, will be speaking about self-build architecture and the social and environmental benefits it can bring.
A short film will showcase how U-Build and AUAR Lab’s design App can be used to create evolving environments, using a site in Clapton called House Block as a case study.
