Woodland Heritage sponsor NBAU student

*Blog update: The Forestry Journal has written a piece about the workshop and Maria’s participation, which can be found here.*

Maria Sebastian, a NBAU student, has been selected to receive a grant from Timber Development UK that has allowed her to attend the 25th running of Woodland Heritage’s Woodland to Workshop (W2W).

The W2W course links ‘tree growers with wood users’, broadens horizons and raises awareness by educating participants from the forest through to the workshop and beyond. This education is paramount for young architects and designers in reclaiming our knowledge of the natural world and how we can work together to build a more sensitive and sustainable future.

Congratulations Maria!
