RIBA Small Projects Handbook

The RIBA has just released a new edition of the Small Projects Handbook. Each of the RIBA Plan of Work Stages has an essay contributed by a different practitioner, bringing diverse voices and expertise into the publication. Commissioned by the author Nigel Ostime (partner, Hawkins\Brown) Studio Bark director Wilf has contributed an essay to Stage 1.

As the name suggests, the book provides guidance geared specifically towards small practices in a clear step-by-step format.

Accompanying the guidance are a series of case studies. We are also delighted that Box House, Mill Lane and the Black Barn are included, demonstrating very different design responses to the climate emergency.

We’re looking forward to getting stuck in, and to hearing how other small practices are operating in these quickly evolving times!
