External doors masticed and taped (Heavy rain incoming)
Kitchen progress: Cornices, cutting panels and fixing
Decking joists and setting out by entrance
Some external doors were leaking around the base!
Signs of water ingress in the carpet and ply door reveal = not good
Ensuite finalised: bath fitted, siliconed areas
Water butt installed
Client moved belongings in
Kitchen island progress: panels cut and fixed, electrical sockets installed
Smoke detectors installed and tested
Lighting system up and running and tested
Kitchen appliances working
Fixed temporary screens to external doors exposed to prevailing wind. (We have since been in contact with the manufacturer and found out we were given incorrect installation details and instructions. A drip channel in the door base plate is currently blocked by how they are sat in the door reveal. Doors will possibly need to be removed and refitted to stop water ingress – a big job.)
Dishwasher and hob installed
Half of kitchen worktops fixed
Family bathroom progress: toilet, shower panels and shower installed
All plumbing complete, except for external tap: family bathroom shower completed, plus basin done
Kitchen: Cornicing complete, majority of plinths installed
Utility: End panel and plinth installed
