Building work for the Black Barn is now well underway. The dramatic scissor trusses were erected in the summer, an exciting moment for Studio Bark as the architectural intent for the proposal was revealed.
Rendering, lighting and the internal fit-out are now almost complete and there is a growing sense of anticipation about the high level of craftsmanship that has been achieved.
In the next few weeks the final areas of Shou Sugi burnt timber cladding will be fixed – a reference to the Suffolk barn vernacular, and the internal fit-out will take shape as part of the final push to reach completion.
Keep your eyes peeled for the final images which will be posted here soon!
